Thanks for a great experience Pelagic Charters! Ethan and Kale constantly put us on fish and provided us with an experience of a lifetime. Would highly recommend Pelagic Charters to anyone looking to catch lots of big game fish.
This has by far been the best charter I’ve even been on. Couldn’t recommend these guys more. The food was great. The fish they put us on was a blue marlin over 300kg a sword over 200 and one about 150. The kingy fishing was on the whole time and we dragged some beautiful bass up from the depths. We will be booking our next trip with these guys as soon as we can.
A group of 7 of us headed to the Three Kings. We had a great time, caught 4 marlin, bass, hapuka (groper to us South Islanders), and massive Kingfish. We loved every minute of the trip. The weather was a bit rough at times but at no time did Ethan the Skipper make it feel unsafe or unmanageable. Special shout out to Kale and Trent our Deckhands who were fantastic. Great food, awesome company and fishing so good I don’t know if it will ever be beaten. Before we returned to Harbour we were already planning our next trip.
Had the most amazing trip to the three kings! Couldn’t have asked for a better crew of guys that put us on Big NZ kings, multiple Marlin, big bass and big eye Tuna. They go the extra mile with everything they do. Top notch service, catering and most of all put you on the fish. They have unreal knowledge of the NZ Fishery and do everything to ensure you get your PB. Massive thank you to Pelagic Charters for an incredible true Three Kings New Zealand experience!
Can’t recommend these guys more highly! Great skipper and crew, got us out of the harbour in dome dodgy weather, onto some tuna straight away and then tucked in safely for the night. Caught all the target species except for a bill fish but too early in the season to raise the percentages for a hook up. I cooked my back (unrelated) on day 2 of 5 and still stayed on!
Book as soon as you can, these guys are the real deal. Won’t be my last trip on Te Ariki Nui I hope.

Had an amazing 3 days out with captain Andrew at Auckland’s west coast for my first ever Marlin!
Had an epic day Marlin fishing! After six or seven bites (in one day) we finally hooked a nice striped Marlin. The crew did a great job and we could land it without any troubles. They’ve been very professional and friendly so I would go out with them any time again! Thanks for this unforgettable experience.
Wicked trip with Ethan and Kale, landed 35 bluefin in a couple days fishing trolling lures and jigging and 18 hapuka, food was great and the boys were top tier, hard working and bloody good fisherman.

Skipper Chris did a top job, he certainly made it work for us, He got us on the fish and was very helpful with tips on fishing and whatever else we threw at him!!

It was a really good experience. We targeted Southern Bluefin Tuna, and they delivered. We also experienced deep sea fishing, catching Blue Nose, Hapuka and Gemfish. The hospitality and food were fantastic; they even served up a roast lamb in the middle of nowhere. I would highly recommend this charter if you are after that big one.

Amazing and professional charter. Did a Three Kings bucket list trip and the guys smashed it. Caught multiple game fish and came home with more than enough to feed all our families. Catering was beautiful and the guys know how to take care of you. Would highly recommend as THE premier charter service.
