Whangaroa Harbour is the perfect location to begin your fishing charter. Only 3.5 hours from Auckland it is New Zealand’s most Northern Marina so the perfect place to depart for The Three Kings Islands, North Cape and other exciting Northland hot spots like the Cavallis, Cape KariKari, Houhora, The Garden Patch and of course Cape Brett along with the famous Hole In The Rock. 
The gorgeous Marina is nestled on the Southern side of the Harbour with the legendary Whangaroa game club at it’s entrance. Many massive Blue, Black and striped Marlin have been and are weighed  in here along with Swordfish plus Bluefin and Yellowfin Tuna.  The  game club puts on a great feed and the walls are full of mighty Tuna, Marlin and Swordfish. Every night game fisherman gather to have a beer and meal plus share stories of the mighty fishing there from both the past and today. It’s a great spot to share your own stories both pre and post your fishing charter.
